• 1-BYM-2026 Framework agreement for the installation of outdoor lighting - market research The Bymiljøetaten i Oslo municipality (BYM) is responsible for the management, operation, maintenance and development of municipal urban spaces in Oslo. The urban spaces include common areas such as roads, streets, squares, meeting places, parks and open spaces, sports and outdoor facilities and areas in the countryside and inner Oslofjord. We are in the planning phase of a new framework agreement for the installation of outdoor lighting. The framework agreement shall cover the installation of outdoor lighting fixtures at establishment of new facilities and upgrading of existing facilities in Oslo. The contract works will include the preparation of infrastructure, installation of control systems and installation of luminaires for lighting roads and streets, squares and meeting places, parks, green areas and sports facilities. It may be relevant for the supplier of the framework agreement to be responsible for the delivery and installation of, among other things, foundations, cables, earth wires, posts and masts as well as electrical cabinets. The Norwegian Environmental Agency wants to facilitate the competition for small and medium-sized businesses suppliers. We want feedback from the supplier market in order to be able to set the right requirements in the procurement and the contract. For further information see the attachments.
