- 11-BYM-2025 - Procurement of general contractor for street upgrading in Bergstien
The purpose of the project Permanent upgrading of the Bergstien is to carry out an aesthetic upgrade of the street with integrated safety measures, as well as the laying of a new water main. Since 2002, the street has been temporarily secured with concrete barriers and other measures that bear the stamp of having been carried out quickly, easily and temporarily. Decisions have been made in the city council and the city council regarding the permanent upgrading and securing of the streets. The upgrade also contributes to reaching the result target and the city council's decision that the street should be experienced as one pleasant, safe and green city street. Procurement of a general contractor for the construction of the Bergstien will help to fulfill the order from the City Council's Department for the Environment and Transport to the City Environment Agency, and follow up on the adopted zoning plan S-5168. The project is planned to start construction in the spring of 2026 and be completed in the autumn 2026. The section in question is planned to be built up with security elements in the form of granite blocks and static and movable bollards towards Geitmyrsveien and Waldemar Thranes gate. Local stormwater management in the form of rain beds and forecourts as an extension of the courtyard in front of the synagogue. In addition is the necessary renewal of the VA facility. The Norwegian Water and Sewerage Agency (VAV) is to rehabilitate an approximately 130 m long 300VL, this is to be replaced with a 500VL. The new water main must be connected to the new cistern group in Waldemar Thranes gate, which will mean bus traffic on the route. The project... - Documents:
