13-UDE-2025 Framework agreement ICT responsible services for Oslo School
The Norwegian Education Agency wishes to enter into a framework agreement with a provider of ICT consulting services for those schools that do not have their own ICT manager. An ICT manager is responsible for carrying out ICT-related tasks that require local attendance at school. Examples of tasks are the distribution of usernames and passwords, installation of equipment, technical setup in connection with the exam, and reporting and following up errors against the operating supplier CGI. ICT managers look after the contact between teachers and pupils, and the service desk at CGI, and with UDA's own service desk and other central roles in education administration. See appendix 4 for more information on what the ICT manager's duties include. The schools' need for resources for ICT responsibility tasks varies. Large upper secondary schools often have several full-time employees and some do apprentices. Smaller primary schools only need a few hours a week and thus do not need a full-time position. The average job size for an ICT manager is estimated to be 30-80%. Based on this, the schools' needs are to purchase services corresponding to a fixed number of hours/days per week (corresponding to a vacancy percentage), or more occasional assignments during periods of high activity or in extraordinary situations.
