Description:
Ivar posting facilities were put into operation in 2019. It contained a line for sorting residual waste and a line for sorting source-sorted paper waste, based on NIR technology. In 2022, a major fire was exposed, where the part of the building contained processing facilities for reception and sorting was completely damaged. It has been decided that the plant will be rebuilt in the same building. The plant consisted of the following halls: • Reception hall • Sorting hall • Warehouse for sorted balls • Wash/Extruder hall • Administration • Technical rooms • Closed conveyor belt to Forus Energy recovery • Pipes for air extraction There are mainly reception hall, sorting hall and "technical flew on 4 floors that are burnt out. Adjacent technical rooms and warehouses are also affected by the fire. The plant for residual waste sorted out 5 plastic types, metal and paper. Source -sorted paper was sorted into 4 types. When reconstruction, it is possible that the reception and sorting hall is used for only residual waste, and sorting of fewer plastic fractions is considered.
