Description : 1. Description
The work on Eidsdal consists of the construction a new complete ferry quay to facilitate larger ferries (80 passenger car units) and to facilitate the electrification of the ferry connection.
The additional quay must have an effective length of approx. 60.5 m and width of 7 m outer part, while the inner part has a width of 11 m where technical buildings for electrification shall located.
The bridge stall shall be adapted to 9 x 22 m ferry quay bridge (V433 Standard ferry quay bridge drafts) with new abutment.
All work shall be executed while the current ferry operation is running as normal, except when the outer part of the additional quay is piled, and replacement of a new ferry quay bridge / deepening of the stall shall take place.
Work must also be executed for electrical installations and hydraulics.
2 Site inspection
A tender inspection shall be held Monday 27.06.2022. At 11:00 local time. Meet at Eidsdal ferry quay. Option for inspecting warehouses in Stordal on return.
