Description:
1. About the assignment Ferry connection no. 1066 runs as a square connection between Larsnes-Åram-Voksa-Kvamsøy in the municipalities of Sande and Vanylven. The existing quay facility will be upgraded due to technical conditions as well as large ferries beginning to use the connection starting 01.01.2025. The bridge docks will be widened with 9X18m ferry quay bridges. Additional quays will be upgraded and extended or built as new steel pipe quays depending on technical conditions. Deepening will be necessary for dredging, blasting and subsequent erosion protection. Shorter closure periods will be made available for some ferry quays, while for other more vulnerable island communities efforts must be made to work with simultaneous traffic. The work will be carried out in accordance with the contract provisions in NS 8406. 2.
