Description:
Tender is invited to 22/00443 Rack 2D Barcode Scanner - FHI
Short Description: Department of Virology at the Institute of Public Health (FHI) wants to procure barcode scanners to automate sample identification and trial for SARS-COV-2 samples. FHI will switch to pipes containing a 1D page tractor code and a 2D bottom tract code that can be stored in racks suitable for automated handling of pipetting robots. Primary samples will be stored for approx. 2 ml cryo tube for long -term storage at -80 degrees Celsius. Alic quotas of these primary samples will also be stored for approx. 1 ml of pipes that fit in SBS stand for 96 samples. The barcode reader and associated software should be able to read, analyze and disseminate barcode information reliably and quickly from racks, in whole or in part, at room temperature and from cooling bearings. The scanner must be able to read a rack bar code. The ability to read individual pipes is advantageous. The barcode reader must communicate with our LIMS system (Labware).
