- NAV plans to announce an open tender contest for the procurement of sexual aids. Emphasis is put on the fact that the competition is only for what is to be considered as an aid in improving functional ability. A grant for sexual aids can be given pursuant to the National Insurance Act ยง 10-6 in order to improve the user ฬs functional ability. Aids for sexual life for maintaining or healing health conditions and function, i.e. treatment aids and cosmetic aids, are not granted pursuant to the National Insurance Act ยง 10-6. These are therefore not included in this competition.
