(25302) Research resources - SEAMLESS task 6.5
The SEAMLESS project develops solutions for fully automated freight transport on waterways. This assignment is a partial delivery to a defined work package in the project: SEAMLESS task 6.5: Social acceptability study. Task 6.5 will identify new skills and competences required for the operation of autonomous vessels, as well as carry out a study of social acceptance among industry players. The assignment is limited to only include a study of social acceptance among industry players. Previous work has shown that a wide survey of the general public provides limited value. The focus must therefore be on acceptance among professionals in the transport and logistics sector. NB: NTNU has a deadline for when the assignment must be delivered as per today's date is set for April 2026. An application has been made to the European Commission for a postponement until October 2026. The client has a fixed budget of EUR 100,000 ex. VAT, and the estimate will, during the contract period, depend on, among other things, the client's needs, activities, budget situation and other framework factors. NB 2: The client reserves the right to cancel the competition and terminate the contract if not be allocated money for the project. Suppliers must therefore be aware that there is a certain risk for this. The suppliers are then not entitled to compensation for "loss" of the assignment.
