26/00329 RNA cleaning robot small scale Instrument for automated isolation of RNA on a small scale is planned to be used for isolation of RNA from various types of biological tissue from marine species. We expect to analyze around 700 samples per year. The instrument must be usable for isolation of RNA mainly from tissue samples from marine species, see section 2.2 Good quality of the result is important to us, i.e. preferably with RIN values from approx. 7.5. The instrument applies to small test series where it is relevant to run tests individually, a smaller one number in the sling up to 24 samples. We have other equipment for larger test series. We have very limited space and are looking for an area-efficient solution, with a high degree of automation. The instrument should be efficient, flexible and user-friendly, with good utilization of kit / consumables for small sample series.
