- Holmestrand kommune has an increasing need for 24 hour sheltered accommodation flats and for co-localisation of health and care services in the municipal part of Sande. As a part of the municipality ́s overall plan for health, care and mastering (2024-2034), it has been decided to establish new 24 hour residences as well as strengthen and further develop the service offer at Sandetun. The aim is to meet future capacity needs and ensure a modern, sustainable and well coordinated service offer. The competition concerns: Demolition of 12 existing municipal houses. Construction of a new building Renovation of buildings C and D Renovation of building H for further use as a day centre for persons living at home with dementia. As a part of the construction of the new building, parking under the roof will be established, facilitated for official vehicles and electric vehicles. Services included in the project: 30 new 24 hour sheltered accommodation flats Leisure activities for persons living at home with dementia. Home Care Premises Premises for mental health and dependency (user related services) Premises for renovation and mastering (user related services) Mental health and dependency activities Support functions.
