- The Microbiology Department would like to procure a system for molecular detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex. The department currently carries out approx. 7000 analyses a year, split between OUS Rikshospitalet and OUS Ullevål, but will be merged in 2027 to the new Life Science building. In addition to the detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex, we would like molecular testing of antibiotics resistance (minimum rifampicin and isoniazid), as well as the detection of selected non-tuberculosis mycobacteria (NTM) (minimum Mycobacterium avium complex).
