Description : Gastromedisinsk avdeling ved Oslo universitetssykehus HF (OUS HF) (the Department of Gastroenterology at Oslo University Hospital Trust) uses disposable ductoscopes in connection with endoscopic investigations; especially for bile duct and pancreatic tumours and stones.
It is also relevant to use disposable ductoscopes in connection with cholecystectomy; when the ductoscope is inserted through the passage between the gallbladder and the bile duct to treat stones (especially in patients who have undergone slimming surgery).
It is anticipated that in 2021 a total of under 100 such patients procedures will be carried out at the Department of Gastroenterology, Oslo University Hospital Trust.
Oslo University Hospital Trust, Ullevål, currently has a Boston Generator DS (Spyglass) and a Walz stone crusher (EHL) and associated fibre for stone crushing.
We request that potential tenderers of disposable ductoscopes (long and short), that are compatible with the above-named generator and stone crusher communicate this to the contracting authority.
