Description:
Acquisition of an agreement on Transport and treatment of bottom ash/slag PURPOSE AND SCOPE The purpose of the procurement is to cover the Renovation and Recycling Agency's (REG) needs for transporting bottom ash from the waste incineration plant at Haraldrud (HEA), and treatment of this. The bottom ash, a residual product of the incineration process, contains magnetic and non-magnetic metals that can be recovered. The bottom ash from the Haraldrud energy recovery plant is not defined as hazardous waste. This is production waste which transported and processed before final landfill. The bottom ash must be transported from the plant in containers, pre-treated/sorted before a residual fraction of the ash is finally deposited. The agreement shall include transport of bottom ash, including container hire, recycling of metals and disposal of residual bottom ash. The supplier must be able to offer a solution that covers the entire value chain from grading at the plant to finishing in the most efficient way possible. The agreement shall have a duration of 2 years from the conclusion of the contract. Principal has an option for a further up to 2 (1+1) years on unchanged terms.
