- Acquisition of aptitude test for health professionals - Directorate of Health
The Norwegian Directorate of Health wishes to enter into a service agreement in accordance with the license contract regulations with one supplier regarding the completion of an aptitude test for health professionals with education completed within the EU/EEA and Switzerland. Norway is obliged to offer an aptitude test to applicants with education from the EU/EEA and Switzerland and who have had their education assessed as significantly different from Norwegian education as a health professional by the Norwegian Directorate of Health. Requirements for an aptitude test for the health professions are mandated in the regulations on authorization, license and specialist approval for health personnel with professional qualifications from other EEA countries or from Switzerland, hereinafter the EEA regulations, which implement the professional qualifications directive (directive 2005/36/EC) in Norwegian law for the health professions. The purpose of the aptitude test is to test the applicant's professional knowledge in order to assess the ability to exercise the legally regulated profession as a healthcare worker. - Documents:
