Acquisition of hook containers with roof
Ecopro AS is a waste treatment company owned by 64 municipalities in Mid-Norway, Inland and Nordland, mainly through inter-municipal waste companies. Ecopro AS receives more than 40,000 tonnes of food waste at its facility in Skjørdalen in Verdal municipality, where the waste is recovered and refined into biogas and nutritious soil and fertilizer products. Ecopro AS takes particular responsibility for climate and environmental considerations and circular economy. The purpose of Ecopro AS is also to safeguard the owners' responsibilities and interests in the following areas: - Receive and process food waste and sludge from municipalities and inter-municipal companies, industry and private actors in central Norway, including the establishment and operation of joint waste treatment facilities.- Coordinate the transport of collected and sorted waste to joint treatment facilities.- Market and sell residual products and energy from waste treatment.- Provide related services within waste treatment.
