Tender is invited to analyte0te to Avt0ps overvaking IFB. Sars-Cov-2
Short description: People infected with Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (hereinafter referred to as "Sars-Cov-2") separates virus through body secretions and stools. SARS-COV-2 in the population can thus be monitored by examining the amount of virus in wastewater from municipalities. At drainage monitoring, sewage samples collect from a drainage treatment plant and transported to a laboratory. In the laboratory, the drain sample is examined with a PCR method for the occurrence of SARS-COV-2. Positive samples screened for selected virus variants and can be further analyzed with sequencing as needed. The time between the analyzes (daily, several times per week, weekly) can be determined depending on the purpose of monitoring. When the results of the analyzes are available, they are interpreted in relation to the other epidemiological monitoring and thereby contributes to increased knowledge of infection dissemination and relevant measures.
