- Description:
- The assignment includes a comprehensive analysis of shore power use and the long -term potential for battery electrification of ships, with assessments of associated infrastructure requirements. The purpose is, among other things, to study the need for power in ports, to obtain data for today's onshore power consumption in Norway and to establish and analyze scenarios for the possible distribution of battery -electric propulsion within maritime transport. The analysis will cover all vessel categories in Norwegian waters, and be specific to energy needs and electrification potential for these. Results should be presented in such a format that data can be further processed for analysis purposes by the client. The Environment Directorate is responsible for the implementation of the tender competition and will be a contract party. The Environment Directorate carries out the procurement in collaboration with Enova and the Norwegian Coastal Administration. Provider can use subcontractors in the assignment. In this case, this should be described in the offer, and the subcontractors' role and expertise must be accounted for.
