• Asphalting and strengthening of municipal roads in Tjeldsund 2026 Background Tjeldsund municipality is responsible for the operation, maintenance and improvement of municipal roads and associated areas. For 2026 er det politisk vedtatt en prioritert satsing på asfaltering og reinforcement of selected road sections with challenges related to poor bearing capacity, telehives and unevenness. The purpose of the procurement is to ensure safe and efficient access for residents, school transport, heavy transport and emergency vehicles, as well as to reduce future maintenance needs through the rehabilitation of sections in need of measures. Description of the assignment The procurement includes rehabilitation with reinforcement and asphalting of initially four municipal road sections in Tjeldsund municipality, in priority order: Nedre Trøssemark (5512 KV1025, estimated 1700 lm) Skjærran (5512 KV1048, estimated 500 lm) Kirkeveien (5512 KV1104, estimated 300 lm) and Klungenesveien (5512 KV12020, estimated 1300 lm) Total number meter of length: approximately 3,800 running metres. There is a requirement for the contractor to attend the stated inspection. This forms the basis for, among other things, final meters of length. The contractor must state the final length/area in the offer. The delivery must include the necessary preparatory work and improvements to be able to carry out reinforcement and asphalting, including milling where this is necessary.
