- Short description: Maritime Pension Fund (formerly the Pension Insurance for Sailors) is a statutory occupational pension scheme for employees at sea. It is the main purpose of providing a seaman's pension between 60-80 years. The scheme is administered by the Maritime Pension Fund (MPK). Maritime Pension Fund has in recent years carried out significant technical and organizational adjustments in order to deliver according to its business strategy and allocation letters in a cost -effective way.MPK uses in some areas external professional aid. One of these areas is asset management services.MPK wants external assistance for necessary asset management services, which consists of, among other things, (see Appendix 1 of the Agreement 1 for a more detailed description); counseling ifm.
