Short Description: Bergen Biogas plants have recently installed two laboratory-scale pilot reactors, of the Dolly Twin Biogas Reactor 2 x15l, Belach Biotechnic, at the plant that can be operated in the thermophile area (54-56oc). The reactors will be used in research and development projects that have an eye on the optimization of substrate composition for increased biogas production. The biogas produced in the reactors consists mainly of methane gas and a number of other gases.
