BV 2025-41 - External auditor ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
The certification must be carried out according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The assignment includes also revision of Bergen Vann's quality system for sampling in accordance with requirements in the pollution regulations § 14-11, and the supplier must in this context be Bergen Vann's "qualified neutral body". Bergen Vann was certified according to ISO 9001 for the first time in 2009, and according to ISO 14001 for the first time in 2011. Bergen Water was re-certified on both standards in 2020. Bergen Water is the city's largest food and environmental company. The agency is responsible for the city's water supply and waste management. We carry out planning, construction and operation of the municipality's water treatment plant, which consists of:- 5 manned water treatment plants- 6 manned waste water treatment plants - 1 biogas plant - pipeline system We take care of associated management services for the city's residents and businesses, including plan processing, follow-up of private installations, fees, information, maps and GIS, and customer service. Bergen Vann has its own operating laboratory which is accredited according to ISO 17025. Bergen Vann is also responsible for Bergen municipality's Security Centre, which is staffed 24/7.
