- BIR invites tenderers to a competitive dialogue for an EPCIC contract to develop a carbon capture facility integrated with the incineration plant in Rådalen, Bergen. The facility will handle CO₂ catch, conditioning, liquefaction, temporary storage and filling of lorries. The CO₂ will be transported to permanent storage locations such as Northern Lights. The final investment decision is expected in summer 2026 and the target is operational before 2030.
