• Catering offer at Tveten farm - invitation to dialogue conference The district of Alna plans to announce a competition for the operation of catering at Tveten farm, and invites a dialogue conference for input on how to facilitate an attractive and sustainable restaurant on the farm. Tveten farm is one of the best-preserved Aker farms with operations dating back to the 15th century. The farm was privately owned until 2006, when Oslo municipality bought the property and later carried out extensive rehabilitation of five of the farm buildings. The farm is managed by the Cultural Agency in Oslo municipality, with several tenants in various buildings. Bydel Alna is a tenant in several of the buildings and uses the farm for meeting space functions for various target groups. Tveten farm is an important meeting place for the local environment, and there is great commitment to the farm from voluntary organisations. The district also runs a leisure club and activities for the elderly at Tveten farm. Other areas on the farm are rented out for stables and cooperative farming. During the rehabilitation, the building became boys' room equipped with a professional kitchen and a small café that has been little used. In order to develop the offer on the farm further, Bodel Alna wishes to enter into a contract with a professional actor who can be responsible for the catering offer on Tveten farm.
