Description:
The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (SVV) is requesting input as we work on a note on the possibilities for charging the operations contractors ́ vehicles and machines (and preferably other vehicles and machines that work for SVV) along 10,600 km of national road. This is done as a part of the implementation of the climate action plan for division operation and maintenance. The note will form the basis for the strategy work for our future contracts. Operation and maintenance that accounts for a significant portion of the division ́s greenhouse gas emissions, which shall be reduced by 55% by 2030. We would like input on, among other things, charging infrastructure, charging technology and access and development of electric machines and vehicles that can be used for the operation and maintenance of the national road network as well as inputs for possible business models for charging infrastructure in our operational contracts (and possibly others who have vehicles and machines that work for SVV). The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (SVV) is requesting input as we are working on a memorandum regarding the possibilities for charging the vehicles and machinery of our maintenance contractors (and preferably other vehicles and machinery working for SVV) along 10,600 km of national roads.
