- Short Description: Mabit will contribute to increased value creation in the fishing and aquaculture industry and in the biotechnology industry, and help to strengthen research-driven business development and industrial activities, and strengthen relevant professional expertise in these industries and professional environments in Northern Norway .Mabit is funded by the Ministry of Local Government and District Development (KDD) and Nordland, Troms and Finnmark county municipalities and are scaled in connection with other business-oriented instruments with the county municipalities. Reference is made to the Regulations on the Municipal and District Ministry's grants for R&D program for marine biotic technology in Norway, and then section 1-11 and §13-14. The target group for the administrator's work is potential applicants for the scheme. Those who can apply for grants over Mabit are:- Northern Norwegian companies in biotechnology, fisheries or aquaculture. Collaboration with Northern Norwegian industry players.
