- Tenders Are Invited In June 2019, the Storting decided to invest in new radars to monitor Norwegian and nearby airspace. The project requires close cooperation between several players in the defense sector; Defense material, Defense Building, Defense Staff (FST), the Air Defense and the Ministry of Defense. Defense building will establish 11 new radar stations in the project. This competition applies to the station to be built in Vardø. For the construction of a new radar station including footpoint in Vardø, Defense Building wants to offer construction management.
