- Competition - C06268 - Restoration of Runway End South - Andøya Airport - 200123 Defense Construction hereby invites a competition for C06268 - Restoration - Runway end SØR at Andøya Airport. The project concerns the improvement and partial replacement of concrete cover on runway SØR, as well as associated works related to preparatory works, concrete works, superstructure and technical infrastructure. The work includes, among other things, the demolition of existing concrete and asphalt pavements, handling of masses, establishment of new concrete decks with associated joint solutions and embedment materials, as well as necessary rigging and operational services. The measure is carried out within an operational airport area. This entails special requirements for security, logistics, progress and execution. The works must be planned and carried out so that consideration of flight operational conditions, FOD prevention, dust limitation and other restrictions are taken care of at all times. It is specified that this is a NATO project, and where this triggers requirements for participation in the competition. See here blue. Part I of the competition basis - Invitation - point 1. Refers otherwise to the competition basis. Regarding inspection: No joint tender inspection will be carried out. Bidders who want an inspection can arrange this directly with the project manager (PL). This is done via the communication module here in Mercell. See Part I, Section 3 "Inspection".
