- The Ministry of Education and Research has decided that Norway will participate in the study "Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study" (TIMSS) in 2027. TIMSS is an international comparative study that maps students' competence in mathematics and science. The aim of Norway ́s participation in TIMSS is to give national authorities information on pupils ́ competence in mathematics and science and a knowledge base to improve teaching for the best interests of pupils ́ learning.
