- Brief description: The aim of the assignment is to have an impact assessment prepared as a basis for carrying out the process for investigation and, if necessary, the establishment of the conservation area in the Sognefjord. The investigation will shed light on the consequences of the 0 option (no protection) and various protection alternatives. The investigationmust clarify whether the effects of the measure may have significant consequences for the environment and society. The impact assessment must focus on topics that are relevant to being able to make a decision on the establishment of a new conservation area. An account of the measure must be given, current alternatives shown, the effectiveness of the measureng and what can be done to mitigate any damage or inconvenience.
