Description:
The buildings in the centre of Honningsvåg shall be secured against avalanches from Storefjellet by the construction of rigid support structures in the form of steel bridges and flexible support structures in the form of modified stone warp fences, as well as snow collector screens and some rock protection. The aim of this procurement is to enter into a contract with a technical construction manager to assist with following-up the construction of the initiatives. The execution of the security measures will take place in the construction seasons 2026-2028 (between 1 June and 31 October each year). Work outside the construction season must be expected. The construction manager must be ready for start-up by 15 April 2026 at the latest.
