Description : The Norwegian Correctional Services carries out the criminal sanctions imposed by the courts. This occurs through the use of prisons, special measures in criminal law, detention, community punishment and pre-trial detention.
The Norwegian Correctional Services consists of the Directorate of Correctional Services (Kriminalomsorgsdirektoratet, KDI), the Norwegian Correctional Services College and Education Centre (Kriminalomsorgens høgskole og utdanningssenter, KRUS) and five regions with approximately 60 local prisons and probation offices. In total, there are approximately 5,000 employees in the agency, and approximately 700 managers at several levels.
KDI wants support in developing and implementing a comprehensive, systematic and continuous program for the development of managers at all levels in the Norwegian Correctional Services in collaboration with HR KDI.
