Description : Ålesund municipality has an interim storage of approx. 25,000 m3 excavation masses in Bingsa. This is
surplus masses from various excavation measures carried out by the municipality. The masses are not expected to be contaminated.
On the site Bingsa also stores bottom ash from Grautneset incineration plant. The excavation masses and bottom ash are planned to be transported to the former landfill in Gangstøvika, where they will
be used for local reallocation and backfilling in the closure of this landfill. Ålesund municipality hereby invites tenderers to a tender contest for the preparation, sorting, loading and transport of the masses from Bingsa to Gangstøvika. The masses must be unloaded and deposited in intermediate storage (windrow) in specified areas in Gangstøvika.
