Description:
The Norwegian Public Roads Administration shall upgrade the Lærdals tunnel on the E16. The tunnel is 25 km long, has a course and no real bypass possibilities. Efficient site execution is decisive for a successful project. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration invites tenderers to a dialogue on how the site work can be carried out rationally, with as few disadvantages as possible for road users. 26 technical buildings with the accompanying wreckage lay-bys shall be blasted in Lærdals tunnel. There are cracker mountains in large parts of the tunnel and the total rock volume that shall be transported out is approx. 200,000 pfm³. It is a prerequisite that the tunnel can be used in the normal way between 06:00 and 18:00 each day. Complete electro and automation installations shall be delivered,(comma) including 4 shaft ventilators. The existing installation shall be operative until the new facility is approved for use. The community impact of the tunnel being planned to be closed to traffic between 18:00 and 06:00 is high. All measures that can be implemented to contribute to reducing the inconveniences of night-time bans, without at the same time creating unnecessary challenges for the execution of the construction work, we would like input on through the market dialogue.
