Description:
Dredging on Somaneset The client needs to enter into a construction contract for dredging at the harbor at Somaneset in Sandnes. The dredging is carried out to provide a sufficient sailing depth for future cruise calls, of a minimum of 10 metres. The following are the main elements of the measure: - Carrying out sea measurements before and after dredging. - Dredging until the defined requirement of 10.0 m depth is achieved. - Mass handling - Option: Handling/disposal of the dredging mass if these are contaminated. - Delivery of complete depth data and documentation for approval by the Mapping Authority. - Handling all necessary formalities, messages and data deliveries to the Mapping Authority. Progress: The dredging must be completed by the end of June 2026 at the latest. The contractor must have the capacity to complete their works according to the progress plan for the delivery. The work must be carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, standards and relevant documentation. Sandnes havn KF is the client for the project.
