- Fagråd for Ytre Oslofjord is a municipal cooperation that i.a. monitors the environment quality in Ytre Oslofjord, with an emphasis on eutrophiic. The monitoring programme has been carried out in a similar way since 2001. Continuing the long time series with data provides the possibility of documenting changes that occur in the fjord. Monitoring shall i.a. document how the fjord is affected by emissions from purified sewage water. The member municipalities are Fredrikstad, Halden, Hvaler, Moss, Råde, Sarpsborg, Drammen, Lier, Vestby, Våler, Horten, Holmestrand, Larvik, Færder, Sandefjord, Tønsberg, Skien, Porsgrunn and Bamble. The municipalities finance monitoring via the sewage fee and the monitoring satisfies previous requirements in the sewage directive. The area we are monitoring is shown on the figure on the first page, prepared by NIVA. The tender documentation and proposed monitoring programme from the previous tender contest in 2018 are attached. A dialogue meeting will be held 14.05.24.
