Evaluation of NFD's general supplementation to Standard Norway
The Ministry of Trade and Fisheries (NFD) wishes to have an evaluation of the Ministry's general grants to Standard Norway. The purpose of the assignment is to obtain an independent evaluation of whether the grant works according to the purpose, and recommendations on ev. Changes to strengthen the standardization work. The purpose of NFD's grants to Standard Norway is to contribute to increased value creation within a sustainable framework. The grant will go to ensure an infrastructure for the standardization work in Norway and safeguard Norwegian interests and obligations in the best possible way in international standardization work. NFD's general grants to Standard Norway is NOK 42.5 million in 2025. We see special need for an evaluation that assesses the effects of the grant to Standard Norway actually had, compared to the purpose and the specific goals set for the scheme. In addition, the evaluation should illuminate whether the funds are managed and applied in a socio -economically efficient and sound manner.
