Extension of Kvernaland care center - ventilation - EP06
The spaces will be organized as a book collective, divided into three departments. Each department consists of nine beds connected to a common living room. The extension must be adapted the user group, which primarily consists of elderly people with dementia, and emphasis is placed on homely design, good accessibility and robust solutions. The tenders will be announced as shared contracts, this competition basis applies to timber. Address: Gamle Aslandsvegen 27, 4355 KvernalandOn the property Gamle Aslandsvegen 25 27 has the following existing buildings: Children's and relief home with 7 places, moved in March 2015 Care center with 24 places, moved in September 2015 Parents' initiative with 7 places, moved in January 2017 The extension is shaped like a horseshoe, partly on one floor and partly on two floors. The total usable area (BRA) for the extension is 2,156 m2. With the outer wall of the existing care center, a closed sensory garden will be created. In addition, the following will be built: Shared storage with covered bicycle parking (BRA: 129 m2) Extension of technical building (approx. 15 m2) Plumbing system Outdoor facility with extended parking for both bicycles and cars Development of a sensory garden and other outdoor areas
