Framework agreement for board appliances for signal systems
The City Environment Agency is responsible for the Oslo Municipality's 324 signaling facilities on the municipal road network, including safeguarding traffic safety and accessibility. In order to safeguard the reliability of the municipal road network, there is a regular need for the replacement of aging or damaged equipment for the various signal systems as well as the installation of new board appliances in connection with the establishment of new traffic lights. A new board apparatus will be replaced and established in the signaling system in Oslo over a period of 4 years from 2026. It is believed that the need to maintain high reliability on the municipal road network in Oslo is the replacement and establishment of about 20 new board appliances annually and about 80 board appliances over four years. Primarily, the replacement consists of replacing aging appliances older than 12-15 years as these more often cause errors. Reservations are made regarding the number of replacements annually and total based on actual needs as well as appropriations for these.
