- The Norwegian Environment Agency ́s main assignment is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, manage Norwegian nature and prevent pollution. We are a government agency under the Ministry of Climate and Environment and have more than 800 employees at our two offices in Trondheim and Oslo, and at Statens naturoppsyn's (SNO) more than 60 local offices. The contract shall mainly be used by the department of Waste, Chemicals and Supervision, and it can also be used by other sections and departments in the Norwegian Environment Agency as needed for consultancy services within circular economy and waste. The Norwegian Environment Agency hereby invites tenderers to a competition for a framework agreement for consultancy services within circular economy and waste. See the attached tender documentation for a detailed description of the assignment. The framework agreement includes i.a. mapping, reviews, analyses of initiatives, data collection and reporting. Examples of what services the framework agreement shall cover: • professional assessments and impact assessments for the execution of product requirements in EU rules. • Assessment of consequences (costs and benefit) and challenges in the implementation of EU/EEA regulations within circular economy and waste in Norway (where responsibility for the execution lies in the environmental management).
