The Norwegian Coastal Administration, hereafter referred to as the client, invites you to an open supply competition for entering into a framework agreement for legal services. The Norwegian Coastal Administration at all times has an ongoing need for legal assistance in connection with its business. The framework agreement will meet the needs of the Norwegian Coastal AdministrationFor legal services and will complement the services provided by their own personnel, typically when capacity and/or expertise for their own personnel are not adequate. The coastal authority is a management body under the Ministry of Trade and Industry. The agency should contribute to safe and efficient traffic in the Far leader alongThe coast and into ports, and is responsible for the state's emergency preparedness for acute pollution. The Norwegian Coastal Administration is responsible for safety and accessibility for ordinary traffic in the waters. This includes responsibility for navigation infrastructure, state fishing port facilities, water measures, pilotage services andMaritime traffic services. The Norwegian Coastal Administration is also responsible for national emergency preparedness for acute pollution. Furthermore, the Norwegian Coastal Administration participates in planning processes and exercises authority under the Port and Water Act, parts of the Pollution Control Act, the Svalbard Environment Act and the Planning and Building Act.
