The project is located in Kvinnherad municipality. Arrangements must be made for several traffic safety measures along fv. 5028 Kaldestadvegen, which today lacks solutions for soft road users. A footpath will be established, mainly pavements as well as footpaths and cycle paths. Count on exits will be reduced to achieve a clearer traffic picture. The road must be improved in certain areas to achieve better visibility and reduce sharp bends. Kvinnherad municipality is involved in the contract in connection with a new VA facility along the route. The road is planned as an overall residential road with road width of 6m. Today's street lighting will be down and new ones will be installed. Challenges with regard to existing cultivated land and requirements for reallocation as well as a high incidence of alien species in some areas.
