Description:
Short Description: Forus Energigjenvinning AS operates two waste incineration lines, Fe 1 and Fe 2. It is the basis for, and economically rational, to increase final treatment capacity beyond the capacity of FE 1. It is therefore planned to build a new waste incineration plant, FE 3, with a capacity in the range of 8-12 tonnes per hour. Fe 3 and Fe 2 shall be planned with downstream systems for CO2 capture. The trapped CO2 must be flowed and transported to CO2 customers or final storage by car. Waste heat from the CO2 capture process will be recycled and integrated. with the district heating system in the area. The project will help to reduce the region's fossil and biogenic CO2 emissions and is thus an important piece in the county's climate work.
