- Indicative announcement - new framework agreements for payment and account maintenance services for the central government DFØ currently has framework agreements on payment and account maintenance services with associated additional agreements with two banks. These agreements expire on 10.5.2027, provided that the latter the option is not used. DFØ plans to enter into new framework agreements with banks by May 2027, so that all state enterprises will come to new framework agreements by 10 November 2027. DFØ aims to announce the competition during October 2026. Directorate for forvaltning ekonistyringer (DFØ) is an ordinary state administrative body under the Ministry of Finance. For further information about DFØ and our organisation, see www.dfo.no. DFØ is responsible for, among other things to enter into and manage framework agreements on payment and account keeping services for state enterprises. The framework agreements are linked to the central government's group account arrangement in Norges Bank, and are mandatory for all government enterprises to use. It is approx. 200 businesses that have called off today's framework agreements. The transaction volume is approx. 85 million payment transactions a year.
