- Installation and exhibition system suitable for conservation for Historjá by Britta Marakatt-Labba - Markeddialog UiT Norway's Arctic University, in collaboration with KORO (Art in public spaces) and INCUBE Architecture, invites relevant and experienced suppliers to participate in an early market dialogue for the Historjá project. The assignment includes the development of a conservation-friendly mounting and exhibition system for Historjá, a 24-metre long embroidered textile artwork by Britta Marakatt-Labba, one of the most significant contemporary artists within Sami art. The work has great cultural and historical value. The solution is expected to meet strict requirements for preventive conservation, including inert environment, airtight construction, controlled lighting, material integrity and long life. The purpose of the market dialogue is to get in touch with experienced suppliers to explore technical solutions, feasibility and procurement strategy ahead of an upcoming competition.
