Description:
After several major weather and avalanche disposals in winter 2023/24 on county roads and national roads in Vestland, Vestland County wants to test the use of artificial intelligence (AI), as a support tool to assess avalanche hazards and preventive closures of roads due to avalanche hazards in Vestland county. The support tool will be used for internal use during a test period. VLFK will be the contract party, but the data will be shared with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. There is a fence on intention removal.
