Intention Relice: Procurement of the Code Tool Claude Code
Rationale for the election: Aim needs an advanced KI-based tool that acts as an autonomous Code assistant under the developer's control. The purpose is to strengthen product development in line with the sieve strategic goals for the use of artificial intelligence. Following a market analysis, our opinion is that Claude Code is the only tool that: Offers developers sufficient control over generated code combined with a high degree of automation. Has mature support for MCP at the Enterprise level, which is necessary for integration with sieve platform services such as Plato and SDS. Provides a developer experience that enables new workflow where code generation is controlled through instruction rather than direct coding, while at the same time as The quality is ensured through continuous monitoring and revision. Aim has assessed alternative solutions, including Github Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf and various autonomous tools aimed at non-developers (Lovable, Bolt, V0 and others), but these do not meet the requirements for functionality, control and integration options for sight's use. `Claude Code is either offered as a fixed monthly subscription or as pay-as-you-go. Of these two, the visibility considers a fixed monthly subscription from Anthropic as the most suitable.
