Description : Senter for integritet i forsvarssektoren (the Centre for Integrity in the Defence Sector) (CIDS) in Norway works as a consulting body as part of Forsvarsdepartementet (the Ministry of Defence). CIDS' responsibilities include strengthening good governance, building integrity, and giving advice in key areas to reduce the risk of corruption or other unethical behaviour. The primary areas of relevance to ensuring continuously improved governance are:
• professionalism and integrity in civil service;
• personnel administration;
• conflict of interest;
• public access to information;
• acquisitions and purchases.
CIDS will carry out the contract with an International Expert on Public Administration on behalf of NOR MOD. NOR MOD will be regulated by contract.
