Tenders are invited to investigation assignments on transport statistics
Short description: The project "Transport statistics" involves collecting various statistics for the transport sector. The data material will be published monthly in the form of transport indicators on the assignments website. Statistics to be published monthly include passenger numbers, goods quantity and figures for transport work. For information on what kind of statistics will be collected, refer to Appendix 1 and description of the assignment. It will also be produced an annual report called "transport benefits in Norway". This report shall include statistics for the whole year. Examples of statistics that are to be included are main features of passenger transport work, passenger car stock, sales of fuel, freight transport work and road traffic accidents. For the complete overview of all statistics included in these reports, see Appendix 1. The report shall also contain text with the discussion of the statistics and analysis of this in comparable extent and details as in previous reports.
