Description:
Parkhjørnet is the new sterile centre at Haukeland University Hospital and requires wire baskets and plastic boxes. The building is situated next to the old main building and becomes a modern sterile central with a high degree of automation. In this automation there is need for wire baskets and plastic boxes that shall function as load carriers in the system. The plastic boxes and wire baskets shall be able to be lifted/handled by a robot and shall have RFID connected to them in order to be identified in an automated store. The load carriers shall be able to be washed again and again and tolerate heavy use, and the thread baskets must be able to tolerate heat up to 134 degrees. The thread basket functions as a universal carrier/generic load carrier for single packed kits, grate packed in paper/foil and as multi-packed single-use sterile units etc. The thread basket can also function as a generic load carrier for containers.
